When Koi paints she likes to connect the art with the viewer. Throughout the past year their art work has changed dramatically. Using only acrylic she has found that the topic of conversation within the work has continued to change as well. Right now, she is working on getting her BFA in painting with a small interest in printmaking as well. On top of that, she is a tattoo artist, which has shown in her work through her recent interest in line. She uses the randomness of watered-down acrylic to create a base, building up the layers until they come together to form their own ecosystem of color and line.
